Description Join an energetic, patient-focused team! Medstar Health at Lafayette Center is currently seeking an experienced Radiographer for a full-time position at our outpatient imaging center located in Washington, DC . The open position will work Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm. A parking stipend is provided for all technologists. $10K Sign On Bonus! JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Diagnostic Imaging technologist: - May serve as a lead technologist/team captain for a designated shift. - Mentors/provides guidance to other Diagnostic Technologists. - Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. - Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. - Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
