Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Plant Operator. - Boca Raton, FL This position is responsible for the operational integrity of Florida Atlantic University’s Housing & Residential Education mechanical systems, which will support more 6,000 beds, 12 residence halls, on the Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses. The Plant Operator manages chiller plants, cooling towers, air handling units (AHUs), outside air units, chilled water pumps, and sewer lift stations, ensuring reliable and efficient performance through Trane, Siemens, and Johnson Controls building automation systems. This position is critical to maintaining optimal building temperature, humidity, ventilation, and wastewater operations that directly impact student living conditions and system reliability .
