Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: FT - 40 hours weekly /Newton Outpatient Clinic /Day Shift (flexible 7:30-5:30) A MercyOne Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services as determined by medical direction, therapist judgment, patient needs and desires, and available facilities. Organize and conduct physical therapy programs in the hospital and community to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Help patient reach his/her optimal physical abilities and learn to live within the limits of his/her capabilities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited physical therapist educational program. EXPERIENCE: None required if education and licensure are met. LICENSURE: Maintain license to practice physical therapy in the state of Iowa.
