Materials Coordinator

Job description

Audubon is currently seeking a Materials Coordinator to join our team. The Materials Coordinator will be responsible for all material control at the construction jobsite. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Receives, verifies and visually inspects equipment and materials at the construction jobsite. - Ensures that inventory transactions are entered efficiently and accurately into the material controls system and is responsible for the integrity of the inventory. - Notifies Purchasing of issues and may contact vendor to report issues needing immediate attention and resolution. - Uses dolly, flatbed, forklift or other material handling equipment to transport material from receiving to warehouse or yard area. Ensures proper handling and storage of items. - Assists with loading and unloading trucks using safe work habits. - Stocks equipment and material according to established safety, operating and inventory control procedures. - Maintains an organized and easily accessible inventory area. - Ensures that location is clearly labeled if appropriate and notifies Supervisor when space is not adequate.
