JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Sr Accounting Specialist to join our growing team. External Job Description: THE ROLE: As a valued member of the Admin Finance team, the Financial Accountant, Admin supports monthly accounting and financial reporting activities, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, balance sheet integrity, and compliance with company policies and GAAP. This role partners closely with sales, marketing, and internal finance teams to support rebate accounting, capital projects, and SG&A reporting, while providing clear financial insights and contributing to a strong internal control environment across North America. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: - Execute daily, weekly and monthly accounting activities to ensure timely workflow and recording of all financial transactions. - Responsibilities include running reports, preparing journal entries, preparing accruals, account reconciliations, creating standard work and improving the accuracy and timeliness of the close process. - Maintain SGA accounting and standard accounting processes for fixed assets, CIP projects.
