Job DetailsJob Location: FORT WORTH, TX 76106Job Category: General LaborEngine Response Technician Position Summary: The Engine Response Technician is responsible for rapid response repair and correction of engine hardware discrepancies identified during disassembly, inspection, and build. This role specializes in stud repair and replacement, threaded insert installation, nut plate installation, minor component repairs, and coordination of outside vendor repairs to prevent production delays. The position plays a critical role in maintaining engine build flow, reducing turnaround time, and controlling repair costs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Rapid Response Hardware Repair: · Remove and replace damaged or incorrect studs. · Install threaded inserts (Heli-Coil, Keensert, etc.) per OEM specifications. · Drill, tap, and restore damaged threaded holes. · Install nut plates and approved fastening systems. · Perform minor non-structural repairs in accordance with CMM/SRM limits. · Repair stripped threads and hardware attachment points. · Ensure proper torque application and hardware installation per specifications.
