TEMP 6 - TEMPORARY SAFETY COORDINATOR: Starting Hourly Rate: $18.68,: Work Schedule : 20-40 hours a week, flexible hours available between Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. (This is a temporary position and can work from the beginning of June to the end of August 2026) Nature of Work: - Provide support to the City of Ann Arbor Safety Manager and Safety Unit in the coordination, implementation, and support of the occupational safety and health programs and projects. - Assist with and support the creation and development of safety policies and initiatives. - Support safety and health training objectives. - Participate in on-site safety and health inspections. - Assist with the identification of safety and health goals and objectives and provide support for the development of corrective action processes. - Develop and prepare incident reports, near miss reports, and hazard assessment reports. - Coordinate, attend, and participate in safety meetings. - Participate in the implementation of personal protective equipment programs and training, and with unit safety personnel on a wide-range of safety and health related topics and initiatives.
