Overview Provide academic student support by working one-on-one and in small groups with students on specific concepts and skills. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Tutor individual and small groups of students in fundamental and advanced skills and areas of knowledge. - Facilitate student study groups. - Provide assistance to students in comprehending discipline specific subject matter. - Respond to student questions requiring an in-depth knowledge of subject matter, course concepts and learning objectives. - Assist in conducting student support functions. - Provide assistance with testing in special circumstances where discipline specific knowledge is required (e.g. students with special needs). - Support student use of discipline specific technology and the course learning management system. - Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or, in limited circumstances, the equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired. - Prior tutoring experience desirable....
