A well-established player in the transport and logistics industry is looking for an experienced Transport Manager to oversee national operations and lead a growing team. Your key responsibilities: - Manage and optimize transport operations, including route planning, subcontractor fleet allocation, and cost control. - Supervise LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) processes, ensuring safe and efficient cargo space usage. - Coordinate customs-related shipments with customs agencies. - Ensure effective use and maintenance of contract vehicles. - Lead and motivate your team, delegating tasks and fostering strong performance. - Build long-term relationships with subcontractors, negotiate with contractors, and collaborate with sales and international forwarding teams. What we expect: - Higher education in economics, transport, logistics, business management, or engineering. - Several years of experience in logistics/transport management, including at least 2 years in team leadership . - Strong knowledge of the forwarding industry and Polish distribution networks. - Proven ability in budgeting, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressure. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - G...
