POSITION SUMMARY: Analyze project, general, and administrative costs of assigned MEPPI divisions. Analyze business transactions generated by day-to-day general accounting for revenue recognition, cost recognition, project management/forecasting, accruals and reporting. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Provide accounting guidance, analysis and direction regarding divisional strategy, initiatives, and operations to Division leadership. Serve as the primary point of contact between project-based Divisions and Accounting. - Monitor, analyze and prepare financial reporting of monthly results and key performance indicators. Identify and report on variances and trends. - Process financial transactions and journal entries supporting monthly financial closings. Provide support to A/R to ensure timely and complete project billing and cash collection. - Conduct analysis and collaborate with other team members to identify risks and opportunities and mitigation strategies. - Assist project managers with review, presentation, and communication of financial results. - Monitor and report project financial performance and develop indexes/system to predict future performance. - Audit project Revenue and Cost...
