Looking for experience in medical-surgical and inpatient rehabilitation Scope of work: The Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Generalist uses the tools, theories, skills and knowledge of the specialty to improve the healthcare practice of nursing and allied staff. The NPD Generalist uses expertise in education and professional development practices, the NPD Generalist (NPD-G) functions in collaboration with staff, leadership, faculty and researchers to develop, implement and evaluate professional development programs that influence professional role competence, continuous learning and growth. Promote synergistic practices and patient outcomes throughout the organization, and advances and leads NPD practice based on the Beaumont Health Nursing Professional Practice Model and in accordance with Association Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing Development Practice. - Uses a systematic approach, analyzes issues, forecast trends and supporting data to determine the learning needs of individuals, service lines, and organizations.
