Job description

Position Overview The primary purpose of this role is to act as a strategic financial liaison between the Finance & Administration team and the Butler Arts & Events Center (BAEC). The position balances technical accounting rigor, including month-end close and data integrity management within Oracle Employee and Financials, with proactive business partnering to enhance the financial literacy of leadership and ensure resources are aligned with the University’s operational goals. Responsibilities: Develop effective working relationships with key members of the Finance & Administration team as well as the Butler Arts & Events Center, providing support on financial matters to deliver the best outcome for the University. Supervise BAEC Business Manager: Assist with timely payments to artists. Complete settlements of shows on a timely basis. To prepare annual budgets, project budgets, and project cost statements for the Butler Arts & Events Center, partnering leaders by presenting options and helping to identify solutions.
