NOTE: This position is eligible for full-time remote work within the United States. Must of significant expertise in US nuclear concrete & steel design as well as in-depth experience with ANSYS. POSITION SUMMARY: Applies technical knowledge, insight, reasoning, and decision making to perform civil structural design of Nuclear Safety-Related and Non-Safety-Related structures. Candidates should possess a strong design background and be proficient in design of concrete and steel structures. Candidate shall be capable of leading technical activities and provide effective technical mentorship to less experienced engineer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: CORE COMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, the individual should demonstrate competencies in performing the essential functions of this position by performing satisfactorily in each of these competencies. - Serves as subject matter expert in the civil structural design areas.
