Forklift Operator - Shipping - 2nd Shift

Job description

The following is a list of specific duties which are considered the essential functions of this job. The list is not exhaustive, as all positions at BWay are dynamic. The employee who occupies this position is expected to assume any / all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in this list: - Drive and operate forklifts to move materials throughout designated locations. - Coordinate with departments to position materials in necessary areas. - Move materials from and to materials center and shipping warehouse. - Stack/unstack materials for storage and shipping. - Present and remove materials from work areas. - Serving trailers to provide materials for shipping and processing. - Load and unload truck trailers. - Place items onto the forklift. - Ensure material is stored based on current and future needs - Works in a warehouse, at a construction site, or in a retail environment. - Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting if it is not working properly. - Have sending and receiving duties on the loading dock.
