Asphalt Paving Crewmember w/ CDL Class B

Job description

Asphalt Paving Crewmember’s assist in the paving for roads, highways, and parking lots. They will assist in the construction of highways/private roadways/parking lots using handheld tools. Asphalt Paving Crewmember’s will drive a distributor truck or crew truck to and from jobsites or a tack truck as needed. CDL Class B is required. QUALIFICATIONS: - Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. - Follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment. - Follow direction of Foreman as to daily tasks and expectations for each specific project or jobsite. - Must have the ability to work with the asphalt crew to pave roadways per plan specifications and, if need be, to perform tasks of other positions as instructed by crew foreman to ensure daily schedules/estimates are met - Assist construction/paving crew with various duties such as shoveling, raking, and flagging - Dig, spread and level construction materials - Lift, carry and hold materials, tools, and supplies - May assist in the placement, moving and dismantling of signs barricades, cones, and othe...
