Job description

We are looking for an Indigenous Education Specialist The Indigenous Education Specialist leads or contributes to the development, renewal, and delivery of education programs and learning products at the Canadian Museum of History and the Canadian War Museum, supporting the integration of Indigenous perspectives, histories, and ways of knowing and ensuring approaches are respectful, appropriate, and informed by engagement with Indigenous communities and partners. This includes analyzing community and audience needs and learning contexts to inform the design of engaging, curriculum-aligned experiences; and building and sustaining relationships with Indigenous communities and partners to support the planning, development and delivery of educational activities, initiatives and resources across onsite and national platforms. Working collaboratively across the organization, the Specialist contributes to the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the Indigenous Internship Program, aligned with institutional objectives and capacity.
