Location: Belknap Campus Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Regular Job Req ID: R108552 Minimum Requirements: Basic ability to read and write and six months of experience. Valid driver's license, insurable by the university's insurance carrier and able to operate manual transmission vehicles. Pre-employment physical exam required. Grade 1 (Hourly) Position Description: This position provides labor support to the Grounds department. Daily duties include light to heavy lifting, collecting and hauling trash, and monitoring recycling, garbage receptacles, and dumpsters to maintain a clean appearance. Duties also include weeding, irrigating plant areas, and trimming/pruning trees, shrubs, and grass as needed. This position is a required personnel position and requires the employee’s physical presence at the workplace. Additionally, the employee is required to report to (or remain at) work to assist with University emergencies during closures.
