Senior Safety Engineer I SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Safety Engineer I that will be responsible for implementing Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety program across multiple project sites and ensuring a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors to the construction work site. - Visa Sponsorships are NOT offered for this position. - 100% travel with regular rotations home every 3 weeks for 5 days - Must be willing to travel anywhere in U.S., not just in your home region. - This is not an entry level safety position and requires a minimum of 4 years construction experience - The following requirements are non-negotiable. Must have either a 4 yr degree in health or safety OR meet all 3 of the following: 1. HS Diploma 2. OSHA30 AND 3. CHST by the BCSP (NCCER, CHSO, SSHO certs do not meet certification requirement) RESPONSIBILITIES: Implement and administer safety programs at worksites, including site-specific safety activities and training programs Document and track safety violations, conduct safety audits, and analyze loss control data Lead OSHA reporting, monitor subcontractor activities, and review safety submittals Record, monitor, and anal...
