Production Supervisor

Job description

Job Responsibilities & Requirements Lead and ensure safety compliance in the assigned area and in accordance with company requirements and best practices. Ensure work meets specifications by reviewing blueprints, monitoring welding procedures (WPS), and coordinating inspections with CWI/QA and assisting with machine set-ups. Ensure work orders jobs are being completed and received correctly in the MRP system to reflect accurate inventory on subassemblies and finished goods. Consistently lead teams to meet production and/or shipping goals to meet or exceed customer demand. Monitor inventory levels necessary to complete production schedules and report discrepancies and additional requirements as necessary. Direct, assist and evaluate team members in both daily and long term requirements and goals. Monitors and maintains efficiencies to achieve best cost and on-time delivery. Prioritize issues, analyze situations and implement effective corrective actions. Provide work flow management, planning, analysis, and training necessary to operate department in a clean, safe and productive manner.
