The Child Abuse Investigator investigates allegations of child abuse while working in conjunction with state and/or local law enforcement investigators, prosecutor’s offices, employees of the Arkansas Department of Human Services, agency policies and protocols, and interagency agreements. Conduct interviews, may assist in criminal investigations, and enter information into the Children’s Reporting and Information System (CHRIS). Compile documentation, reports, and transcripts of all allegations of child abuse. Present factual testimony in Administrative hearings, Juvenile and Criminal proceedings.
