Job description
About the Role: The Factory Automation Engineer at BlueOval SK Stanton, Tennessee will have a unique opportunity to be a key member of the start-up team, assisting with initial launch of new product lines and development of manufacturing processes. Key Areas of Responsibility: Automation System Design & Integration - Develop, configure, and optimize PLC, SCADA, HMI and MES/EAP automation systems - Integrate automation equipment with IT/OT infrastructure and enterprise systems - Design and document automation workflows, control logic, and systems interfaces Implementation & Commissioning: - Install, test, and commission automation hardware/software at the plant level - Provide technical support during system go-live and post-deployment stabilization - Ensure preventative maintenance and lifecycle management of automation systems Troubleshooting & Support: - Diagnose and resolve system issues, equipment malfunctions, or integration failures - Provide on-call and emergency support as required, including off hours - Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure system uptime and operational continuity Process Optimization & Compliance: - Identify opportunities for automation improvements...
