Job description

Job Summary Under general direction, provides occupational therapy services to mentally and/or physically impaired patients, including assessment, treatment program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance; facilitates the learning of those skills to promote functional independence. Required to follow the State Practice Act KRS.319A. Demonstrates a commitment to professional accountability and growth to maintain and expand knowledge and skills. Contributes to the mission and philosophy of the Organization. Contributes to the effective operation of the Organization by demonstrating dependability in job performance. Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort Works inside a typical therapy setting on patient floors, outpatient clinic, or off ground/unit activities as indicated.
