- Pinewood Parish Council - Address: Ipswich, Suffolk IP8 3SL - Salary: £26,899 per annum - Hours: 37 hours per week - Contract: Permanent - Reference: 0712 Your role: An exciting new opportunity for a Community Hall and Events Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day running of our Community Hall, organise events and entertainment, be responsible for private and regular hirers and oversee management of the member’s bar. You will be expected to have some flexibility so that you are able to support the day-to-day running of the Community Hall and the events held therein. Your responsibilities: In this role you will: - be responsible for the line management of other Community Hall staff such as Caretakers and Bar Supervisor; ensuring rotas for Bar Staff are planned and time sheets are completed where applicable - be responsible for interacting with new and existing hirers, managing bookings and ensuring payments are received in a timely manner - be responsible for developing and managing the in-house events programme such as booking entertainment, marketing the events, organising ticket sales, ensuring any furniture and/or equipment / decoration and food arrangements are made...
