About the Role Pelican Point Power Station plays a critical role in delivering safe, reliable and efficient electricity generation for the South Australian market. As part of the Operations & Maintenance function within Generation Australia, this shift‑based role supports the safe and reliable operation of a large‑scale power generation asset. Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, the Shift Operating Technician (OM Tech Level 1) works within a disciplined operations team responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and maintenance of plant and equipment. This role is suited to someone with a technical, trade or engineering background who is looking to develop operational capability within a regulated, safety‑critical power generation environment. This role requires working a 24 x 7 roster. Key responsibilities include: - Operating plant and equipment under supervision within defined operating limits to support availability, efficiency and commercial performance - Monitoring plant performance, identifying abnormalities and supporting fault diagnosis - Supporting safe systems of work, including isolations, permits and compliance with Process Safety Rules and regulatory requirements - Respo...
