Job description

The Facility Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our 167,000 sq ft Burnaby office. This will include preventive maintenance programs, as well as repairs that will need to be made from time to time. The Facility Manager will also be involved in responsibilities and decisions that are part of the functionality of the site, such as shipping, security, reception, etc. This would include involvement in operations of the administrative office relating to furniture needs and health and safety issues. At least 2 years of secondary education and 5 years Supervisory/Management experience in Facility role. Must have experience with preparing and overseeing budget. Must possess strong organizational and customer service skills. Must have some computer skills i.e. Microsoft outlook, excel, word. Must have a Valid driver’s license. - Provide and supervise maintenance and repairs of the buildings, not covered by the landlord. Provide facility services for tenants per terms of the lease and to report any issues to V.P. Global Operations.
