Position Overview Power your Future with Qualus as an Engineer in Training II (EIT) on our Distribution Engineering team! In this role you’ll help plan and design distribution projects that strengthen and modernize the grid. You’ll assist in developing construction packages, preparing engineering calculations, and supporting material, cost, and construction estimates. You’ll work closely with senior engineers, project teams, clients, and permitting agencies while learning utility standards, design tools, and project workflows. This intermediate-level position is ideal for someone with a solid technical foundation, curiosity, and a desire to learn. You’ll be supported through structured training and hands-on experience as you grow into increasingly complex project responsibilities. Responsibilities: - Complete engineering design and documentation of distribution system projects. - Apply client, industry, and regulatory standards to project designs with guidance from Senior Engineers. - Help prepare construction plans, permit requirements, design sketches, cost estimates, material lists, and construction support using established CSA and client standards. - Participate in field revie...
