Plant Accountant

Job description

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Plant Accountant who will be responsible for core plant accounting, cost accounting, inventory management, and fixed asset activities. This role is accountable for executing and overseeing the financial operations of the plant, including financial reporting, cost control, inventory integrity, and capital asset management. The position partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Plant Leadership to drive improved business performance through accurate financial insights and strong financial controls. This position reports to the Finance Manager and works closely with the Plant Controller. Key Responsibilities: Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for the plant, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting. Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, providing clear and actionable insights on variance drivers against the forecast Track financial trends, assess risks and opportunities, and support action plans to improve plant financial performance.
