Andrologist III - ( 260004EY ) Description A Brief Overview The Andrologist III plays a critical role in supporting daily operations within the IVF Andrology laboratory to ensure high and consistent pregnancy success rates. This position assists the Supervisor in overseeing lab operations and personnel, including training new technologists and facilitating ongoing education. The Andrologist III ensures proper functioning and maintenance of laboratory equipment, troubleshoots technical issues, and evaluates new technologies and techniques.Responsibilities include performing comprehensive andrology laboratory procedures, such as testicular biopsy specimen preparation, adhering to quality control protocols, and complying with regulatory standards (e.g., Ohio Department of Health, CAP, FDA). The role also involves clerical duties, inventory management, and maintaining effective communication with patients, clinical staff, and lab personnel.This position requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
