Overview Education - Project Engineer - Long Beach Cordoba Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer with outstanding communication skills and field experience, who will assist the Construction Manager in the daily management, reporting, communications, operations, coordination, and general administrative needs of projects assigned. Individuals must be able to manage multiple tasks, exhibit strong organizational skills, and have a basic understanding of design and construction. Responsibilities: - Provides technical and engineering support to the Construction Manager - Coordinates with District staff, contractors, architects, engineers, inspectors, consultants and other construction support staff - Participates in, and occasionally runs, design or construction meetings - Makes field checks on construction, demolition, rehabilitation, alteration addition or repair projects to determine compliance with job specifications, plans, established district standards, and Division of the State Architect (DSA) requirements - Reads and interprets construction plans and shop drawings - Assists in preparing written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines - Support...
