Female Disability Support Worker – Telopea, NSW About Connecting Families: Connecting Families is a community-focused organization committed to making a meaningful impact on the lives of children, adults, and families. About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Female Disability Support Worker to provide support to an 18-year-old female client in Telopea, NSW . This is a casual position. The client presents a range of mental health challenges, including self-harm, suicidal ideation, and other complex behavioral issues. The role will involve supporting the client in an NDIS setting , promoting independence, and ensuring safety while managing challenging behaviors. The client has the following conditions: Hypovitaminosis Social Anxiety Disorder: Autism Spectrum Disorder (2): Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD): Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) (currently under investigation) The role requires you to assist the client with daily living tasks, provide...
