Job description

- Perform oversight of construction activity on behalf of the client, report on contractor regulatory and contract safety compliance. - Monitor compliance to all current OSHA requirements that relate to the specific construction projects. - Perform daily safety reviews of work in progress in accordance with current Safety Regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as developed and updated by BuildLACCD. - Monitor adherence to Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP) requirements and procedures. - Support to the Program Safety Manager, including but not limited to, attending any required meetings, or providing safety reports/analysis as requested. - Attend construction meeting with college project team and general contractor. Leading the safety topic (toolbox), report on site observations (Observation Report) and review upcoming construction schedule for hazard preparedness. - Perform ongoing construction site safety inspections and generate daily safety report for all site visits. - Submit weekly Project Health Safety and Environmental Observation Report to College Project Manager. - Perform ongoing review, for completion and accuracy, of contractor safety submittals, JHA...
