Quality Inspector - Level 1

Job description

Job Title: Quality Inspector - Level 1 Job Summary: Under direct supervision, inspect products and assist with quality audits. Test and sample raw materials and incoming products to ensure compliance with company standards. Carry out diversified bench, first piece or floor inspections using simple inspection tools. Devise ordinary gauging or measuring set-ups. May be responsible for approving products for distribution. Ensure labeling meets company and governmental regulations. Responsibility: - First-off inspection, receiving inspection and in-process inspection. - Product and LPA audits. - Utilize manual gauging and operate CMM as required. - Inspecting incoming material per receiving inspection requirements. - Sporting of product based on visual aids. - Completion of necessary forms and paperwork. - Understand TS processes for nonconforming material, identification and inspection processes. - Other assignments as needed to support internal and external customers. - Adhere to all Health and Safety, environment laws and procedures. - Other duties as assigned.
