Job Summary Aptive Resources is hiring a Physician – Internal Medicine to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families at Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC), 59th Medical Wing (59 MDW) in JBSA- Lackland in San Antonio, TX. • Employment Status: Full-time Independent Contractor. • Compensation: This is an Independent Contractor position paid at an hourly rate. • Schedule: The performance hours of the Medical Treatment Facility are as follows: 59 MDW hours of operation are between 07:30-16:00 MondayFriday • This is a personal service contract and Medical Malpractice is a covered benefit. • Providers do not make rounds within the hospital • Patients per day average 13; This allows for 1/2 day per week for administrative duties Primary Responsibilities: Job Summary: • Perform a full range of physician services by privileges granted by the Medical Treatment Facility. • Direct, perform or assist in the instruction of other health care professionals within the scope of the clinical privileges or responsibilities. • Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of train...
