Zachry Engineering Corporation (ZEC) is looking for a detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler who is highly qualified in scheduling to work in our Downers Groove, IL office This is a great opportunity to work on a challenging projects for a well-known clients in the industry. This role, in our engineering group, will produce and maintain all cost and schedule functions, both internal and external, on assigned projects while maintaining company standards. - Assist the project manager in developing project scope of work for required Project Controls tasks - Study and understand all relevant project documents pertaining to the preparation of schedules - Work with all relevant project and discipline personnel to prepare schedules - Convert the scope of work document into a logically linked, resourced project schedule - Prepare realistic, achievable schedules using logical networks and where necessary integrate engineering, procurement, and construction schedules with an emphasis on the engineering and procurement pieces - Develop progress curves and manpower histograms - Monitor progress against project schedule and prepare progress reports - Collect expended man-hours and prepare Earned Val...
