Work Schedule: 100% FTE; Day Shift. Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Be part of something remarkable: Provide security staff with the skills to detect potential threats and implement effective workplace safety interventions. We are seeking a Workplace Violence Prevention Consultant to: - Implement workplace violence prevention programs with a focus on evidence based de escalation strategies for both clinical and non clinical healthcare employees. - Deliver specialized training for security personnel, including advanced de escalation techniques, conflict resolution skills, and appropriate use of control and intervention strategies. - Develop, update, and manage training materials—presentations, handouts, e learning modules, and job aids—to support continuous workforce education. - Conduct incident debriefings following workplace violence events and create actionable improvement plans to enhance future responses. - Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure best practices and regulatory compliance are integrated into prevention initiatives. - Actively participate in the Workplace Violence Prevention Committee, pr...
