Classification Title: CLIN AST/ASO/FULL PROF Classification Minimum Requirements: Candidates should have an MD/DO in Orthopedics and fellowship trained in Sports Medicine and be able to obtain a Florida Medical License. Job Description: The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville is seeking a full-time Orthopaedic Sports Medicine faculty at the non-tenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor to join our team. The position will be located primarily in the Jacksonville area, but may support the growing NE Florida region. Major responsibilities include performing diagnostic, interventional and surgical management for patients with a variety of sports-related conditions. The successful candidate will be expected to provide high quality clinical care, provide teaching to orthopaedic residents and participate in research. This position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
