Survey Crew Chief

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Survey Crew Chief in Kansas City, MO. The Survey Crew Chief will be responsible for conducting a variety of survey assignments to include horizontal and vertical control, ROW and boundary retracements, DOT projects, railroad and municipal surveys throughout the Midwest. Experience utilizing Trimble equipment is preferred. Responsibilities and Duties: - Lead and supervise a survey crew in conducting field surveys, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining high-quality work standards. - Interact with engineers, other surveyors and project managers to understand project requirements, provide updates on survey progress, and address any concerns or issues that arise during the survey process. - Conduct field surveys using total stations, GPS equipment, terrestrial scanning, UAS, levels and other surveying instruments to collect accurate measurements and data. - Ensure routine maintenance and calibration of surveying equipment is completed annually.
