Laborer General Foreman SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer General Foreman that will be responsible for organizing and directing craft team members based on project schedule, including preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other craft team members. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures - Supervise and coordinate activities of foremen and their assigned craft workers - Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders - Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations - Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules, using knowledge of equipment capacities and assigned personnel - Study and analyze schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for job completion - Analyze and resolve work problems - Maintain time records - May make cost estimates for contracts; use logical step-by-step procedures in work; plan work and solve problems; make decisions based on measurable information; may operate machinery - Provide leadership to other team members and apprentices by displaying resourcefulness, strong work habits, and creativity in problem solving based...
