Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 5 years of experience in modem protocol development, with a specific focus on 3GPP LTE and 5G NR data or audio path development. - 5 years of experience in coding with a general purpose programming language (e.g. C/C++), wireless communications, mobile, and embedded systems. Preferred qualifications: - Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - Experience with the 3GPP L2 protocol stack, including MAC, RLC, and PDCP layers. - Experience in LTE and 5G MAC layer scheduling, including data prioritization, HARQ, and C-DRX alignment. - Knowledge of wireless audio path components, including Jitter Buffer Management (JBM) and RTP protocol optimizations. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
