This role involves managing day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and providing leadership and support to payroll staff. The Payroll Lead will play a key role in process improvement, reporting, and addressing complex payroll issues. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Operations: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate payroll runs. Verify calculations for overtime, bonuses, commissions, benefits, and deductions. Approve updates to employee records, such as new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Manage payroll tax filings, including quarterly and year-end tax reports.
