The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Safety & Site Support Division seeks a Surveyor. Under the direction of the Field Party Chief, the Surveyor will assist in field data collection for the completion of various maps, such as topographical/ property line, damage & acquisition, completion surveys, and plan & profile maps for Infrastructure and Public Buildings construction projects; acts as Party Chief, as needed. Additional responsibilities include assisting with the drafting of field sketches, level notes, and various documents pertaining to the maintenance of the survey equipment within an assigned vehicle.
