Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) is looking for a Program Manager to support our Department of Energy (DOE) customer. The Program Manager is the primary face to the customer and is responsible for overall contract performance and customer satisfaction. This is an on-site position located at the James V. Forrestal Building in Washington, D.C. Duties and Responsibilities: - Managing day-to-day customer interaction including setting and managing customer expectations and effectively communicating with the customer to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions, including addressing complaints and resolving problems. - Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships. - Planning, coordinating, and executing work across a growing number of activities. - Ensuring adequate staffing levels to ensure continuity of support. - Directing/supervising project team personnel, including those on cross-competency teams at various locations. - Briefing leadership and staff, including the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), on program status and milestones.
