Position Summary Single or multi-department management of operations. Manages day to day operations. Directs, supervises, orients/trains and evaluates staff. Enforces policies, procedures and standards of operation. Position may have budgetary or fiscal accountability. Renders individualized comprehensive nursing care, based on nursing process, to meet the patient’s physical, psychological, spiritual, social and educational needs. Manages the staff to meet designated goals. Position is responsible for approving timekeeping, employee evaluation, meeting applicable regulatory standards, approving supply orders and department strategic planning. - Patient Care: Provides patient care according to designated standards and practices. Assists in ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the appropriateness and effectiveness of patient care. Establishes a mechanism to track customer service performance and takes corrective action to address any issues. - Management: Participates in the development of annual budgets that reflect appropriate expenditures for personnel, supplies, and equipment.
