Classification Title: OPS Sponsored Project Classification Minimum Requirements: - Must have a reliable mode of transport to work locations at Pasco boat ramps - Strong skills and confidence speaking with community members - Ability to record written responses on paper or using online surveys - Ability to stand in the sun and heat during work hours Job Description: Sponsored by Florida Sea Grant, this part-time, temporary position runs from July to August 2026. It is intended to assist the UF/IFAS Extension Florida Sea Grant Agent in Pasco County with the distribution of Scallop Sorter devices during Pasco's Scalloping Season. This individual will be expected to work outdoors, weekend mornings between work dates (see exact dates below), for 6 hours per day during the Pasco Scallop Season, totaling 60 hours of work. The position requires a reliable mode of transportation and a willingness to drive to work locations. Work locations will include (but are not limited to) the Anclote River Park Boat Ramp, Nick’s Park Boat Ramp, and Robert J Strickland Memorial Park Boat Ramp.
