BASIC FUNCTION: The Payroll Coordinator will assist in the processing of biweekly payroll for approximately 650 employees located in eight San Diego facilities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Coordinate with department managers and supervisors to ensure employees’ timesheets are accurate and approved within strict deadlines. - Calculate gross-to-net payroll. Review for accuracy and compliance. - Update employee payroll records for voluntary deductions and wage assignments. - Prepare onsite final checks for terminated employees. - Prepare CA EDD UI benefit audits. - Collaborate with Human Resources department to ensure accuracy of all HRIS data. - Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. - Generate and extract information from HRIS system for payroll reporting and other payroll related data. -...
