Job description

The Role: What You’ll Do As the Spanish Teacher at Veritas Prep High School, you’ll teach Spanish I and II, working with students to explore oral and written Spanish and the history and development of the language. You’ll also work with a team of passionate educators to create a community where students of all identities feel safe, seen, and included, centering students and fostering student-led discourse, critical thinking, and leadership skills. You’ll also: - Teach all 9th and 10th grade Spanish classes - Utilize and continually strengthen your deep content knowledge to prepare high-quality, effective lessons - Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction, when needed - Encourage, monitor, and provide feedback on the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies. - Maintain accurate and complete records of students' academic and behavioral progress and development. - Participate in department, school, district, instructional coaching, and parent meetings. - Learn, contribute to and use school-wide routines and systems that help our school run smoothly and keep the focus on teaching and learning - Use data to make decisions...
