Classification Title: Maintenance Supervisor Classification Minimum Requirements: Completion of an approved apprenticeship program in a recognized trade and relevant experience to total five years; or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of relevant experience. Appropriate vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Job Description: Staff Supervisor- Directly supervise and coordinate the work activities of the Controls shop staff and maintain the BAS systems in the buildings. Prepare work schedules, assign work, and oversee the work product of the staff. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of complicated tasks. Exercise a high degree of creativity and latitude. Direct and lead the work of others. Monitor staff work levels and review work performance. Compile operational or personnel records, such as time and production records, inventory data, repair or maintenance statistics, or test results.
