Position Title: Assistant Store Manager, hourly, full-time EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: - High School degree or equivalent - Three years of demonstrated experience in a retail environment - Strong interpersonal skills - Demonstrated knowledge of cash controls and cashier procedures - Experience reading computer spreadsheets and working with email, internet skills, Excel, Word, and other computer programs - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and margins - Have a basic working knowledge of office machines - Retail and supervisory experience, three years preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Provide leadership and direction to assigned associates. Maintain daily production schedules and ensure safety, quality and production requirements are met. Track and coordinate department manpower, production, and budget. Analyze problems and implement countermeasures to improve department performance. Coordinate with other Assistant Managers and departments.
