Operations Manager I

Job description

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Operations Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring that orders are filled at the distribution center for delivery company wide. The Operations Supervisor also ensures that merchandise sold by our sales team or at the branch retail store locations is shipped completely and accurately in a timely manner. A Little About Your Day: You will: - Prioritize job duties for the entire crew while working closely with departments to fill orders company-wide effectively and productively. - Manage the operations team providing coaching, guidance, and mentorship, resolving any issues that may arise. - Work with department managers company-wide, including branch management associates, Sales, Purchasing, service and rental, and Operations Management, to ensure warehouse operations are operating in an effective and efficient manner to meet customer needs. - Ensure workplace safety is a top priority and guidelines are adhered to. - Manage truck safety including safe loading, and coordinate with Fleet Manager on truck maintenance and repair. - Participate in decisions regarding delivery times, route schedules, and other logistics for delivering the product. -...
