About the role As our Despatch Coordinator, you will demonstrate a high level of customer service and attention to detail with previous experience in despatch planning, scheduling and prioritisation. You will be responsible for planning despatch to optimise service levels and customer satisfaction, without compromising our well-established safety and quality standards. Hours for this role are 5am – 1pm, Monday to Friday Your responsibilities will include: We are seeking a proactive, customer focused individual, with outstanding problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of the transport/heavy vehicle industry and loads, and be a highly organised team player with exemplary attention to detail. - Provide a high level of customer service - Ensure required fleet matches delivery plan - Accurate despatch of correct order to customer - Liaise with sales, warehouse and transport providers to resolve urgent and critical customer requirements - Managing driver and wait times with an expectation to reduce yard wait time - Performing load checks and auditing of loads and load restraint - Sign off safety checklists and adhere to all relevant health and sa...
